Marta's background in the music/performing arts industry is extensive. She has been performing in the entertainment field for more than 20 years.
She attended Hart School of Music in Hartford, Connecticut, on full scholarship, where she received her classical/jazz vocal training.
Her resume includes past DJ experience, lead vocalist and percussionist for several local bands, live acoustic performances at weddings and family events, and dance performances, as well as volunteer leadership with a local youth performing arts group.

Marta brings many years experience in community service projects and emblazoning our youth through learning, music, and service.
Marta's Bio from the CT Youth Workshop:
"Dance Director/Lead Choreographer- Marta has been singing and dancing since the age of nine and teaching dance and movement to all age groups since she was 15. She attended Hart School of Music in Hartford, Connecticut on full scholarship where she received her classical/jazz vocal training. Her musical training has allowed her to perform with bands such as "The Diamond Collection" a Neil Diamond tribute band ( www.diamondcollectionrocks.com ). She was also, previously, the lead female vocalist and percussionist for "The Victory Band" ( www.victoryband.net ). Her theater background has allowed her to perform in numerous musical and dramatic shows. She spent some time doing DJ work for Weddings and Special event parties. Marta was also a teacher and administrator for children's Virtues classes every other Sunday in the community. Of course her love of performing, combined with the joy she brings to the youth make her invaluable to the CTYW."
